Kumho Asiana As the 7th largest corporation in South – Korea with nearly 40 subsidiaries, Kumho Asiana has invested in Vietnam since 1993 and has seven companies operating in Vietnam. In which, Kumho Tires is stated as the 9th ranking in the world. Currently, Kumho Tires has built a factory with specialization in manufacturing and trading automobile tires with total investment of 210 million U.S. dollars in Binh Duong province. In addition, Kumho Asiana Group is investing in various fields in Vietnam such as Kumho Asiana Airlines and Kumho Construction with the Kumho Plaza in Ho Chi Minh. In 2006, Kumho Asiana Group has also merged Deawoo Construction company with several residential projects in Hanoi.

Kumho Asiana Group also established The Kumho Asiana – Vietnam Scholarship & Cultural Foundation for the purpose of awarding scholarships to Vietnam talent young and funding for cultural activities between Vietnam – South Korea.
