On January 19, 2009, Ocean Group and Ocean Bank attended the agreement signing ceremony between Luc Ngan People Committee (Bac Giang Province) and many regional businesses to support 13 poor districts in the period of 2010 to 2015.
At the ceremony, Chairman of Ocean Group and Ocean Bank signed an agreement with representative of Tan Son Ward, Luc Ngan District, committed to support poverty alleviation effectively which focused on infrastructure construction of transportation, irrigation, power line, school and station; assisting the poor build houses and so on.
Associated with the interests of community is the motto of Ocean Group, derived from the sense of responsibility and generosity of all managers and staffs of Ocean Group in general and Ocean Bank in particular.
