“Wishing the poor blind have a warm Tet and partly overcome difficulties, we participated in the auction and successfully owned the Vespa motorbike which President Nguyen Minh Triet donated to Vietnam Blind Association”, Ocean Group Chairman, Mr Ha Van Tham shared after awarded this motorbike from Chairmen of Vietnam Fatherland Front and Vietnam Blind Association.
The Vietnam produced motorbike LX 125 Piaggio is a gift from international guests to President Nguyen Minh Triet. And then, the President donated to Vietnam Blind Association for purpose of taking care the poor blind and this motorbike was put to the list of five auction artifacts by the Centre of Vietnam Fatherland Front to raise money for supporting poor people in the charitable program “Noi vong tay lon” in 2009.
Appreciated to the President goodness, Chairman of Ocean Bank and Ocean Group participated to the auction and succeeded in buying Vespa motorbike with the hope that can partly supporting the poor blind striving and reaching up in life.
In 2009, Ocean Bank, as known as the subsidiary of Ocean Group, involved in a lot of charitable programs, shared a hand to help unfortunate people by building charity houses, contributing funds to support disadvantaged children and the Agent Orange victims.
